to the index CONFRATERNITY MEDITATION FOR OCTOBER 25 “The closer one approaches reality, the nearer one comes
to unity.”
Annotation by Cherag Hamid Touchon The divine reality is singular. It is unified. There is only one of it. Everything is contained within it and to approach it means to become aligned with it, to become aware of it, to harmonize with it. Until we consciously strive toward this accord with the Divine Reality we rely almost completely on what we have experienced as a physical being, viewing the world through our egos and our belief structures. Like this the world looks like many different and opposing things because we think of ourselves as one among many. But when we see behind this façade of multiplicity there is only the thing from which every thing else emanates: the Divine Reality, the Countenance of God. 002.115
