THE LAMP OF THE MESSAGE 

The annual training for Cherags and candidates will be held as part of the Sufi Order leaders training this summer in California. The Cherag training runs from August 9-12. This will be followed by a retreat with Pir Vilayat. Topics will include the vision of the Universal Worship and the Message, the work of the Cherag, a study of the form and rhythm of the service, creative ways to develop a service, and other topics. This year we will also concentrate on how to develop and present the sermon. Part of the training each year is also a creative "cosmic celebration" involving the participants.
